Policies & Check-In

CHECK-IN TIME: 3pm - 5pm 
Any late arrivals need to be arranged at least 24 hrs ahead of time, and no arrivals after 10pm will be permitted.  Late arrivals without prior arrangement will be charged a late fee of $60 or less.

CHECK-OUT TIME: 11 A.M. 
Later check-outs may be permitted with approval, but are not guaranteed.  Without approval, late check-outs are subject to a late charge equal another nights stay or less.

Parking is free

 

SMOKING: 
We are a non-smoking facility. In accordance to Colorado Revised Statute section 25-14-204, smoking is prohibited from all indoor areas, and is also prohibited within 15 feet of entryways to indoor areas where smoking is prohibited. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes and vaporizers. Any individual caught smoking anywhere inside the property can incur a $100 fine per incident, as well as charges made for any damages suffered.

 

ACCESSIBILITY: 
The lodge was build in 1956, which unfortunately handicap-accessible rooms were not part of the design and stairs are a must means of travel.

 

WI-FI INTERNET: 
We provide free unsecured wi-fi in public areas inside the lodge. This may extend to guest rooms depending on location, but is not guaranteed.

 

ALLERGIES:

If you have any significant allergies, it is in your best interest to notify us at least 72 hours prior to date of arrival. Our breakfast changes daily, and we would prefer not to have you stuck with foods you cannot eat. We are also a mountain facility that is pet friendly. In addition to guests who bring animals, there are also resident pets (Olaf who is our 3 year old Kuvasz, Rose is our 11 year old Akbash, and Kilimanjaro our feline mouser).

 

PET POLICY: 
Our pet-friendly accommodations are only for dogs. No other pets please. 
One well-behaved family dog per room.  Understand that we do have 2 dogs  and a cat who live here at our lodge with us, your pet must be able to get along with them.
A fee is $25 per room is required (including service animals).
- Pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest. 
- Pet must comply with local legislation requirements. 
- Pet must be kept on a leash when in the hotel or on hotel property unless it is in the guest's room. 
- Pets must not be left unattended. 
Dog Holidays is also an affordable 1/2 Day or Full Day pet resort, but they do require all dogs to be fixed and vaccination papers present.

- Pets are not allowed in any food and beverage outlets. This exclusion does not apply to service dogs, though proper paperwork is required. 
-Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on hotel property and in the neighborhood. 
- Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed immediately to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced. Failure may incur a $100 fine and/or other penalties. 
-Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet. 
-Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest's pet. 
-The lodge reserves the right to charge guest's account commensurate to the cost of such damages.

 

BAR & GRILL: 
This winter our bar and grill is open Fri - Mon from 3pm - 8pm. It is solely at the bartender's discretion to remain open for cocktails later then 8pm, but in accordance with Colorado Liquor Rules 1 C.C.R. 203-2 cannot serve past 2:00am. No one under the age of 21 is permitted to sit at the bar itself, but can be in the lounge area until 8pm. If this area is not open there is no guest access to the pool table or foosball.

PAYMENT POLICY:

All reservations require a 50% Deposit at time of booking.

For Individual Room bookings, Final Payment is required 72 hours prior to reservation arrival date. Failure to meet this requirement will void the reservation and the deposit will be forfeit.

For Group bookings (10+ rooms), Final payment is required 30 days prior to date of arrival. Failure to meet this requirement will void the group block and the deposit will be forfeit.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

For individual reservations, cancellations may be made 72 hours prior to date of arrival for a full refund of the deposit.

For group reservations (10+ rooms), cancellations made 90 days or more prior to date of arrival receive a full refund of the deposit. However, 60 days or less prior to date of arrival the deposit is forfeit.
